Our Mission

Garland County Jail Ministry, Inc. is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1991 with a singular purpose: to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ behind bars and make disciples of those who are incarcerated.

Our mission is to share the soul saving message of salvation with every man and woman entrusted to the Garland County Detention Center through Biblical preaching, teaching, discipleship, and personal ministry.

We are committed to leading the lost to Christ, strengthening believers in their faith, and equipping them to live transformed lives through the power of God's Word.

Each year, God allows this ministry to witness approximately 20,000 class attendances and celebrate nearly 800 professions of faith, salvations, and rededications to Jesus Christ. We believe no one is beyond the reach of God's grace, and every person deserves the opportunity to hear the Gospel.

Supported by a dedicated team of more than 100 staff members, we seek to glorify God by bringing hope to the hopeless, restoration to broken lives, and the transforming truth of Jesus Christ to those behind bars. Our commitment extends beyond incarceration as we strive to help individuals build a foundation of faith that leads to lasting spiritual growth, successful reentry, and restored relationships.
